The Colonial Cavaliers CC was founded in 2004 by James Fry and Donovan Hudson as a social cricketing club based out of Boston, Massachusetts. The club boasts a roster of players hailing from all over the globe including England, South Africa, Australia, India, USA, Norway, New Zealand and Pakistan to name but a few. The Cavaliers quickly grew as years passed and in 2014, after 10 years of social cricket rivalries the Cavs decided to join the Massachusetts State Cricket League.
The Club's inaugural league season saw us take over GE Field in Lynn, MA. After some elbow grease dedicated groundsmanship, the field was able to shake off it's tainted reputation and proved to be a veritable fortress for the Cavaliers who were unbeaten at home. The Cavaliers finished the regular season, with an enviable record of 11 wins and 1 loss. The Cavs won both their semi final and final convincingly, paving the way for promotion to the MSCL 2nd Division as Division 3 Champions.
The Colonial Cavaliers now call the thick outfields of Livingstone St Park, Tewksbury home - as well as the country club. Narrowly missing out on promotion to Division 1 in 2015 and missing the play offs altogether in 2016, the Cavs rebounded spectacularly in 2017 and winning the Division 2 title with a convincing win over Caricom CC in the final to secure promotion to Division 1 for the first time. We also created a second league side now playing its trade in Division 5.
In 2020, the club renamed itself to Cavaliers Cricket Club.
The cry heard on every field is Amicitia et Victoria or Friendship and Victory.
